Marking their first ever appearance at the Bethpage Federal Credit Union New York Air Show at Jones Beach, the B-1B Lancer bomber will perform during Saturday and Sunday at the air show.  

The B-1B is a swept-wing, long-range, multi-role, heavy bomber with four afterburning engines capable of producing over 30,000 pounds of thrust per engine.  The B-1s flying at NYAS are based at Ellsworth AFB near Rapid City, South Dakota.
