Raptor, Air Force's newest fighter, to demo at New York Air
Show! |

The US Air Force will showcase their newest air superiority fighter -
the F-22A Raptor - in a heart-stopping aerial demo at the 2008 New
York Air Show at Jones Beach on Memorial Day Weekend. This will be
the only performance of the F-22 in region in 2008!
Piloting the F-22 will be Major Paul "Max" Moga, a native of St. Paul,
MN. Max and the F-22 demo team are based at Langley AFB, VA.

Navy Blue Angels to headline New York Air Show 2008

The US Navy Blue Angels will return to headline the New York Air Show
at Jones Beach on Memorial Day weekend, May 24-25, 2008. The 2008
team is commanded by Commander Kevin Mannix, a native of Lindenhurst,
NY. CDR Mannix, a graduate of Lindenhurst High School in 1981, will
fly Blue Angel #1 as he leads the six blue and gold jets through their
legendary performance over Jones Beach.
