Major Dylan G. "HABU" Thorpe
Major Dylan "HABU" Thorpe is Air Combat Command's A-10 East Demonstration Team Pilot and Officer-in-Charge. As the demonstration pilot, he showcases America's A-10C Thunderbolt II to more than 3 million people at over 30 air shows per year worldwide.

Major Thorpe was born in Danville, Illinois, and grew up in Woodland Park, Colorado. After graduating from Woodland Park High School in 1996, he attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he earned a degree in Computer Information Systems and a commission as a Second Lieutenant. Following completion of Joint Specialized Undergraduate Navigator Training in 2002, he completed training in the F-15E and was assigned to the 336th Fighter Squadron at Seymour Johnson AFB, N.C. While assigned to the 336th, he deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Upon his return, he was selected to attend pilot training at Columbus AFB, Miss. After graduating from Joint Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training, Major Thorpe attended A-10 Training at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, Arizona, and was assigned to the 75th Fighter Squadron at Moody AFB, Georgia. As a member of the "Tiger Sharks," he deployed in 2008-2009 to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Major Thorpe is currently assigned as an A-10C instructor pilot with the 23rd Fighter Group, 23rd Wing, Moody Air Force Base, Georgia.

MASTER SERGEANT MATTHEW HARRIS
Master Sergeant Matthew J. Harris is the Assistant Team Chief for Air Combat Command's A-10 East Demonstration Team, assigned to the 23rd Wing, Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. He directly supervises six maintainers assigned to the Demonstration Team and three A-10C aircraft valued at over 39 million dollars. Sergeant Harris also coordinates the maintenance efforts and logistic requirements while performing at air shows all over the world.

Sergeant Harris is from Rochester, New York. He entered the Air Force in 1994 and completed basic military training at Lackland AFB, Texas. Sergeant Harris then went on to complete technical training at Sheppard AFB, Texas, graduating as a Tactical Aircraft Maintenance Apprentice on the A-10 Thunderbolt II.

Following completion of technical training, Sergeant Harris was assigned to the 81st Fighter Squadron, Spangdahlem AB, Germany as an A-10A Assistant Dedicated Crew Chief. While assigned to the 81st FS, Sergeant Harris deployed to Aviano Air Base, Italy in support of Operation Deny Flight 3 times for a total of 7 months. At the early rank of Airman First Class, he was promoted to Dedicated Crew Chief and given his first "Warthog" to maintain. In 1996 Sergeant Harris was reassigned to the "World Famous Flying Tigers", 74th Fighter Squadron, Pope AFB, North Carolina. Sergeant Harris helped stand up the newly assigned 74th FS by performing acceptance inspections while temporarily assigned to Shaw AFB, South Carolina. From 1996 to 1999 Sergeant Harris deployed to Al Jaber AB, Kuwait in support of Operation Southern Watch on 2 separate occasions and deployed again to Gioia del Colle AB, Italy in support of Operation Allied Force. Sergeant Harris was reassigned in 1999 to the 65th Operational Support Squadron, Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal, where he performed Transient Alert duties for thousands of U.S. Military and Allied Aircraft. In 2001, Sergeant Harris returned to the 74th Fighter Squadron at Pope AFB. In 2003, Sergeant Harris Deployed to Tallil AB, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom where he led a 5-man maintenance team forward to Kirkuk AB, Iraq. In 2004, Sergeant Harris was selected as a Maintenance Training Instructor at the Pope Education and Training Center. In 2005, Sergeant Harris brought his teaching skills to the 51st Maintenance Operations Squadron, Osan AB, South Korea, where he was assigned as the NCOIC of Instructors for the 51st MOS Maintenance Training Flight. In 2006, Sergeant Harris returned to the 74th Aircraft Maintenance Unit and served as Flightline Expediter until the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) transition to Moody AFB, Georgia was complete. Once stationed at Moody AFB, Sergeant Harris continued as a Flightline Expediter for the 74th AMU until in September 2008, he was chosen as the NCOIC for the A-10 East Demonstration Team.

STAFF SERGEANT ADAM E SUNNER
Staff Sergeant Adam Sunner is a Dedicated Crew Chief for Air Combat Command's A-10 East Demonstration Team, assigned to the 23rd Wing, Moody Air Force Base, Ga. He is directly responsible for the maintenance, inspecting, servicing and forms documentation of three A-10C aircraft assigned to the Demonstration Team valued at 39 million dollars. 

Staff Sgt. Sunner is from Rockwell City, Iowa. He entered the Air Force in September 2003 and completed basic military training at Lackland AFB, Texas. Staff Sgt. Sunner then went on to complete technical training at Sheppard AFB, Texas, graduating as a Tactical Aircraft Maintenance Apprentice on the A-10 Thunderbolt II.

Following completion of technical training, Staff Sgt. Sunner was assigned to the 355th Aircraft Maintenance Unit, Eielson AFB, Alaska as an A-10A Assistant Dedicated Crew Chief. Within six months of Staff Sgt. Sunner's arrival at Eielson AFB he was awarded Maintenance Professional of the Quarter. While assigned to the 355th AMU, Staff Sgt. Sunner was chosen to be the Assistant Dedicated Crew Chief for the 355th Fighter Squadron Flagship under Brigadier General Gibson. In 2005 Staff Sgt. Sunner deployed to Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom where he earned the Air Force Achievement Medal for his efforts. In 2007 he was then reassigned to the 23rd Fighter Group, Moody AFB, Ga. Since Staff Sgt. Sunner's arrival at Moody AFB, he has earned the Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter Award, and received another achievement medal after his second deployment to Bagram AB, Afghanistan in 2009. In December 2009, Staff Sgt. Sunner was handpicked to be a Dedicated Crew Chief of the A-10 East Demonstration Team.

STAFF SERGEANT BENJAMIN R MCINTOSH
Staff Sergeant McIntosh is an Engine System Specialist for Air Combat Command's A-10 East Demonstration Team, assigned to the 23rd Wing, Moody Air Force Base, Ga. He is directly responsible for all engine maintenance and data analysis on three A-10C aircraft assigned to the Demonstration Team valued at 39 million dollars.

Staff Sgt. McIntosh is from Sugar Grove, Pa. He entered the Air Force in November 2003 and completed basic military training at Lackland AFB, Texas. Staff Sgt. McIntosh continued his technical training at Sheppard AFB, Texas and graduated as an Aerospace Propulsion Apprentice on the A-10 Thunderbolt II.

Following completion of technical training, Staff Sgt. McIntosh was assigned to the Phase Inspection section of the 23rd Maintenance Squadron, Pope AFB, N.C. as an A-10A Engine System Journeyman. While stationed at Pope AFB Staff Sgt. McIntosh deployed to Bagram Air Base Afghanistan in May of 2005 and again in September 2006 for a total of 10 months in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Staff Sgt. McIntosh remained at Pope AFB until the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) transition to Moody AFB, Ga. was complete. Once stationed at Moody AFB, he was assigned to the 75th AMU as a Lead Engine Technician. In September 2008 he deployed once again to Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan for a six month deployment in support of OEF. Upon his return he was handpicked as the Engine Technician of the A-10 East Demonstration Team.

SENIOR AIRMAN KYLE MYERS
Senior Airman Kyle Myers is an Assistant Dedicated Crew Chief for Air Combat Command's A-10 East Demonstration Team, assigned to the 23rd Wing, Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. He is directly responsible for the maintenance, inspecting, servicing and forms documentation of three A-10C aircraft valued at 39 million dollars.

Airman Myers is from Pickens, South Carolina. He entered the Air Force in October 2007 and completed basic military training at Lackland AFB, Texas. Airman Myers then went on to complete technical training at Sheppard AFB, Texas and Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona, graduating as a Tactical Aircraft Maintenance Apprentice on the A-10 Thunderbolt II.

Following completion of technical training, Airman Myers was assigned to the 74th Aircraft Maintenance Unit, Moody AFB, Ga as an A-10C Assistant Dedicated Crew Chief. In 2009, Airman Myers deployed to Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Senior Airman Myers was chosen as the Assistant Dedicated Crew Chief on the 74th Fighter Squadron Flagship. Senior Airman Myers was hand-picked as a member of the A-10 East Demonstration Team.
